Let's work together! I'm currently seeking new opportunities and open to relocation.
Jurassic World: The Legacy of Isla Nublar is a cooperative legacy campaign where players step into the roles of iconic franchise characters to build and manage a dinosaur theme park across a 12-scenario story. Every decision—from park layout and attractions to dinosaur breeding and crisis management—has lasting consequences. As the campaign unfolds, the modular board permanently changes, genetics cards are unlocked, and new narrative twists emerge, creating a unique version of Isla Nublar shaped by player choices.
The visual design and art direction draw inspiration from vintage Hawaiian travel posters and mid-century pulp comics, combining lush illustrated environments with retro typography and weathered textures. This approach creates a “lost relic” aesthetic that reinforces the game’s sense of history and discovery. Across the board, cards, iconography, and rulebook, the design balances immersive world-building with clear, functional gameplay—supporting a cinematic legacy experience that evolves over time.
Each adventure consist of 5 rounds. Each round will either have a round card, dinosaur danger, or attraction card to be revealed at the beginning of each round. These serve as key storytelling points of the game and help reveal the story of Isla Nublar and the journey you are taking.
Through-out the adventures, players will unlock Vehicle (green), Supply (red), Gear (blue), and Event (pink) item cards. Each will help players complete objectives, heal, or control parts of the game. During some adventures, players will retrieve special cards like the Helipad or the Discovery cards to play in the end area.
Sector cards serve as the weather forecast, tells how many items may be collected when searching, as well as reveal what dinosaurs will do after all characters perform their actions. These are replaced each round and only sectors containing containers are revealed.
There are twelve dinosaur card in this game each representing a unique dinosaur from the Jurassic Park / Jurassic World movies and other shows. We decided to illustrate each like old monster movie posters.
As well as dinosaur cards, each dinosaur comes with a Dinosaur Danger card. Each adventure you will randomly select one or more of these cards to appear during the rounds.
As Jurassic World comes to life in your game, these Attraction cards combined with the Dinosaur Danger cards will give you more challenges to complete and help make your park the the most fun for your guest.
There are 21 characters available to play as you go through the adventures. As you scratch off abilities these character will gain additional abilities. In later games you can use the Legacy side of the character to help you achieve your objectives.
As your park grows park employees will join your cast of characters to help keep things running. Training them in different buildings gives the players advantages as long as you can afford it.
These guides are a helpful reminder for players. One side shows which actions characters may do on their turn and what those action do. On the flip side is a summary of how the dinosaurs move and the priority for choosing which prey each carnivores want to hunt.
During the prologue and after each adventure the players will be directed to the research folio. During the prologue, the success of the previous adventure will impact future adventures in many ways. This could look like providing additional budget to help improve the park, unlocking new abilities for characters, or even revealing new exciting dinosaurs players will immediately add to their park!
At the start of the game and with each new adventure, new tokens and stickers will be introduced to the game. These will have a permanent impact on the game. Below are a few of the sheets which are in the game.
Below you will find a few of my favorite round cards from throughout the whole 12 adventure game. Each adventure will come with 1-4 depending on the adventure. These help push the narrative of the game along while still having players make decisions and sculpt their own unique game.
